As a photographer

My passion for photography began in the digital age but my passion for beauty has been a part of me for all of my life. As a younger woman, I worked for two large advertising agencies in New York City and was exposed to some of the best commercial photographers in the world -   photographers who shot Cover Girl models such as Cheryl Tiegs when the Cover Girl line was just starting out - photographers who shot for Gerber Baby Products, Lufthansa Airlines, Proctor and Gamble and the island of Bermuda.

I began photographing professionally in 1999 when I was asked to take portrait shots of executives at Craighead Publishing in Darien, CT.  Beginning in 2000 until 2006 I was asked to photograph advertising shots, executive and staff portraits, groups and events for Stamford Hospital.

I began photographing personally in 1999 with landscape photographs of the beautiful campus of Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. This developed into sea and bird photography which developed into flower photography which is now developing into an artistic and unusual ways to depict portraiture and still life.  I am forever challenging myself and will hopefully remain humbly awed by others and their creativity.

My educational background in art and photography has been as a metal sculptress at Silvermine in New Canaan, Connecticut, an art and psychology student at Mount Holyoke College and an art therapy masters candidate and communications masters recipient at the College of New Rochelle.

I do sell my work and have recently been asked to show my photography in several organizations to support their "going green" effort.

As a marketing and design expert

My advertising and writing career prepared me for working in this field. I have been Marketing Director for Craighead Publications in Darien, CT and Internet Strategy Manager for Stamford Hospital. I have learned online Marketing through the attendance at various seminars conducted by Google and industry leaders and by procuring a recent Masters in Communications from the College of New Rochelle in New York.
